Library Love | Tag

Maura has invented a new tag and it's about libraries! Well, I haven't been in a library to borrow a book for quite a while. But I like her questions so I'll do the tag anyway ;)

In what kind of libraries do you go? (School, university, city library...)
I always went to the Stadtbibliothek not far away from my home. My friend, also neighbour, and I would take the Tram (train, Straßenbahn, whatever) and be there in 5 minutes max. We would walk the halls of the library and look at the shelves with all these awesome, wonderful books and get huuuuge eyes.

What's your favourite section in the library?
Fantasy, YA Contemporary and Romance. Duh. Well, I loved fantasy so much when I was younger and knew exactly which path was the shortest one to get to the right shelves. At some point I had gone there so often there wouldn't be any new books I didn't already know.

How often do you borrow books from the library?
Well, you know. Baaaack in the days, like, 2 or 3 years ago, I definitly borrowed all the books I wanted to read. But I just gave the explanation in the last answer why I would go there not that often like I used to. So for now, I actually never borrow books. Didn't do that for probably 1 year. Maybe even more. Oh my god, that's really sad, isn't it? It had been a habit to go there at least 3 times a week, so it'd really been a huge part of my life. Sadly, that changed, and I wish I could change it back. But I'm not the young Me anymore, so it would be hard. And honestly, I think the library guys changed all the paths and shelves, I wouldn't even find my way. Ugh, so sad when you think about it.

Do you borrow eBooks?
YES! Yes, I do that! Well, sometimes. I don't read that many eBooks, but yes, in the summer holidays when we went to Turkey or another country I usually take my eReader with me ;)

Do you have a borrowed book at home right now?
Uhm, no, I don't, I'm so sorry =(

Do you buy a book for yourself, if you liked it?
Nooo, I don't think I ever did that. Oh well, but in fact I'm now collecting the Harry Potter Series! So yeah, I did read them first when I borrowed the books from the library and now I'm trying to buy the english versions =)

I loooooooove the pictures on weheartit with the wonderful libraries, you know? Love them so much!
